Katarzyna Konieczka, MD, is an ophthalmologist and glaucoma specialist. Her clinical and scientific focus is on ocular circulatory disorders. She is the author of many scientific publications as well as a book on glaucoma.
After completing her medical studies and specialist training in ophthalmology in Poland,
Dr. Katarzyna Konieczka moved to the University Eye Clinic Basel, Switzerland, in 2008,
where she conducted research under the direction of Prof. J. Flammer and at the same time
trained as a glaucoma specialist. Since 2023, she has been running her own ophthalmology
office and consultation where she primarily cares for glaucoma patients:
